44 unit housing scheme – Elm Lane, Minster

We are awaiting the appointment of an Inspector for this site of 44 houses in Minster, Kent. This application was refused at Planning Committee after strong support from the LPA and an officer’s recommendation for approval.

The Planning Committee refused the scheme and then spent 30 minutes trying to agree on a reason for the refusal!

Appeal statements have been submitted, with the LPA relying on their report to committee as their evidence to justify the refusal. This application exemplifies all that is wrong with the planning system at this time.
